Folkstyle Tournament December 5, 2010 results
The Ripon Tribe Wrestling Club’s Folkstyle Season has
officially begun. The Tribe currently
has 26 wrestlers ranging from 4 to 13 years of age. On Sunday December 5, 2010 nine members of
the Ripon Tribe traveled 75 miles in the
first tournament of the season in Dos Palos, CA. Some
of our wrestlers learned that not giving up can end up in favorable results,
having come from behind to end up winning matches. The top three place finishers in each division
took home a medal. Tribe members that participated in the tournament
included Andrew McCloud (first place), Logan Rohoden, TJ Grubb (second place),
Xander Reyes (third place), Brandon Barnett, Cole Miller (Third place), Donovan
Fontillas (first place), Gabe Beltran, and Angelo Calderon (Second Place). I was extremely proud of all the participants.
